Comments on: Wix eCommerce Review 2020: Key Things to Know Before You Build a Wix Store So you can pick the perfect website builder for your unique needs Thu, 02 Jan 2020 15:32:18 +0000 hourly 1 By: Mel Sat, 22 Jun 2019 10:32:04 +0000 Thankyou for this very in-depth article. With very accurate info.
I recently built a Shopify store, mainly because I want/need dropshipping functionality, but I found that the designing/building process was quite a steep learning curve and then the page builder (beyond the home page) was awful. It requires more apps to make it look good and (most of) those apps cost as much as the monthly Shopify fees. Then plus the % fee on each sale, so essentially they take a commission on your business. This irritated me so much that I switched to Wix. It’s way way easier to build a better looking site (as you said) and no fees and cheaper per month. It’s quite annoying that Wix don’t do drop shipping yet, but I’m holding out that they will add it soon.meanwhile I’ll build my brand with my own products . I wish Wix had e-commerce as their main focus like Shopify, then they’d be 100% #1 platform…perhaps they will soon…But thanks for confirmation that Wix is actually a great platform.
